For more than a century the preeminent Grosse Point Yacht Club had welcomed members, but until the addition of this new structure, the organization never had a place where the next generation could learn to sail.

Perched at the end of the club’s marina, the new facility takes its aesthetic inspiration from the existing Mediterranean Revival clubhouse. Its cream-colored stucco walls, white trim, red Spanish tile–like roof, and central cupola perfectly capture the character and spirit of the club.
