Set on the shores of Lake St. Clair, the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club is one of North America’s preeminent boating clubs with an iconic Mediterranean Revival building that has stood for more than 100 years. To celebrate its centennial, a renovation was undertaken to improve the program and elevate the overall interior experience. Impressive stonework was maintained, but every space was re-detailed with millwork and trim. The original eatery was reimagined as The Spinnaker Club with an elegant nautical theme, and a function room was transformed into a premium bar and restaurant.
