Forty years of work on this late-nineteenth-century Beacon Hill mansion—today home to a coveted event venue and the famed bar Cheers—have seen the restoration and renovation of every one of its myriad historic elements.
These include its public reception areas, lobby bar, grand staircase, and various wood-paneled and parquet-floored entertaining and function rooms, as well as Cheers itself.
The project also created a private penthouse for the building’s owner, which features access via a keyed elevator and a rooftop with pergolas and a pool.
