In the Edgartown Historic District on Martha’s Vineyard, guest houses are limited to 900 square feet per zoning regulations. This very unique guest cottage was not bound by that restriction due to its nuanced placement on a separate lot beside that of the main house. By thinking strategically and working with zoning regulations, our clients were able to achieve the cottage they desired as a matter of right.
