It is safe to say that no single architect’s vision is more inextricably knitted into the built fabric of Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard than Patrick Ahearn’s. To date, Ahearn has been involved in an astonishing 177 projects, both public and private, around the town, and more than 200 across the Vineyard as a whole. In a new book, Timeless: Classic American Architecture for Contemporary Living, you can now peruse a selection of the firm’s dwellings – several of which, including the beauty shown here, have graced the pages of New England Home over the years.
