Thursday, January 31st, brought us to beautiful Palm Beach, Florida and marked the 18th and final stop on our year-long Timeless Book Tour. We had the great pleasure of speaking at the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, a private organization that protects and celebrates the area’s historic, architectural and cultural heritage. While the day started off rainy, the sun made a fitting appearance as people arrived, setting the tone for a fabulous afternoon.
We were thrilled and honored by the turn out of 100 guests including Preservation Foundation members, clients, and designers – some of whom we hadn’t seen in years! The event began with a presentation of Timeless followed by a wonderful reception and book signing where attendees had the chance to socialize and mingle. We were delighted to see several of our Martha’s Vineyard clients in the audience including friend and Preservation Foundation Trustee Kenn Karakul, Dan and Mary Stanton, Taki and Elaine Pantzopolous, Lou and Zacharie Vinios, Tim and Lily Bentas, Bob and Pat Snyder, Stuart Roffman, Lise Revers, and Gina Mortara – to name a few.
After the event, we visited the lovely Kips Bay Decorator Show House, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, where we caught up with renowned interior designer, Cindy Rinfret. The Show House, a Mediterranean-style home located along the Intracoastal Waterway, was co-chaired by Preservation Foundation Chairman Pauline Pitt who we had the distinct pleasure of meeting and chatting with earlier.
Concluding our 12-month book tour in Palm Beach could not have been more wonderful and we want to express our gratitude for the tremendous support we’ve received throughout this extraordinary year. Whether speaking in New York, Charleston, or here in Palm Beach, we had the good fortune to meet passionate, engaged guests who share a genuine interest in architecture and historic restoration. Sharing our work and design philosophy with such an incredible group of people has been great fun and a marvelous honor – thank you all!
