Its simple post-and-beam construction, sliding doors, rough-sawn siding, and functional ventilated light monitor atop its red-cedar roof give it a sense of historic authenticity.
The traditional-look barn, which slips seamlessly into its landscape, serves a modern purpose inside. It provides additional entertaining space, beyond that of the property’s main beachside-style house, as well as off-season storage for the homeowner’s boats and boating gear, all with the materiality of the exterior expressed within.
