Video: Reimagining the Carnegie

03.18.2021

In this Weekends with Yankee segment, Patrick and Executive Director of The Vineyard Trust Funi Burdick discuss how the former Martha’s Vineyard Library was saved from neglect and integrated back into the community.  Originally commissioned by Andrew Carnegie in 1904, the vernacular of the original structure was preserved and protected, and The Carnegie now proudly welcomes guests as a visitor center, gallery, and meeting place.

For more information about the Carnegie you can see the project in our portfolio and the Vineyard Trust’s website.
