Timeless at the Boston Design Center

03.13.2018

Tuesday, February 13th marked Patrick’s first official stop on his much-anticipated book tour for Timeless: Classic American Architecture for Contemporary Living. The Boston Design Center proved to be a fantastic venue for his inaugural lecture and book signing with over 200 attendees. The outstanding attendance and outpouring of support was a perfect way to kick off the tour.

Patrick began the lecture by sharing his Levittown, New York roots, describing how the location of his upbringing came to impact his future design philosophy. He then brought the audience through the storied chapters of his career – from his work designing Faneuil Hall to restoring countless blocks of Back Bay – culminating with meaningful design stories of the homes featured in Timeless.

“I’ve followed Patrick’s work for decades, and now really understand what sets him apart.”

Comment from an Attendee

Following the lecture, the crowd gathered at the beautiful Christopher Peacock gallery for a reception and book signing. The positive energy in the room was contagious. Guests ranged from interior designers to brokers to media professionals – and all were anxious to discuss Timeless and their thoughts on the lecture. While the crowd was substantial, the event still felt intimate as Patrick chatted with people one-on-one at the signing table.

It was a terrific afternoon and we are grateful to everyone who joined us. We look forward to an exciting book tour ahead, so please check our schedule to see if we will be coming to your area. The schedule will be updated as new locations are added.
